Introducing bldrAgent
bldrAgent is the AI-powered engine at the heart of the platform. It understands plain English instructions and turns them into fully functional web and mobile applications — complete with screens, logic, databases, and design — without requiring you to write a single line of code.
Whether you're building a booking system, a customer portal, an internal tool, or a full e-commerce store, bldrAgent handles the technical work. You focus on what the product should do. bldrAgent figures out how to build it.
What bldrAgent can build
bldrAgent is not limited to a specific type of app. It can build virtually any web or mobile application that stores data, manages users, and handles workflows.

Setting up bldrAgent
Getting started with bldrAgent takes under five minutes.
Step 1 — Create your account
If you don't have an account yet, create an account. Check /pricing for current plan and trial availability.
Step 2 — Create a new project
- Log in to your dashboard
- Click New Project in the top-right corner
- Name your project (you can rename it at any time)
- Choose a starting point:
- Blank project — a clean canvas
- From a template — a fully-built app you customise (see App templates)
Step 3 — Open the bldrAgent chat
Once your project is open, the bldrAgent chat panel is on the left side of the editor. This is where you talk to the AI.
Type what you want to build in plain English:
Build me a property listings website. Users should be able to
browse listings, filter by price and location, and submit an
enquiry form on each listing page.
bldrAgent will generate your app — pages, data model, navigation, and logic — in seconds.
Step 4 — Review and refine
After the first build, explore the canvas. Use the preview to see your app live. Then keep chatting to refine:
- "Make the filter sidebar collapsible on mobile"
- "Add a favourites feature for logged-in users"
- "Change the accent colour to terracotta"
Step 5 — Publish
When you're ready, click Publish. Your app goes live instantly at a yourapp.bldr.app subdomain. Connect your own custom domain in App Settings.
The bldrAgent editor
The editor is split into three areas:

You can also switch between Edit mode and Preview mode using the toggle in the top bar to see how your app behaves in real time.
Your first session: tips
- Don't overthink the first prompt. Start with a broad description and refine from there. The AI builds fast enough that iteration is free.
- Use the AI to fix its own mistakes. If something doesn't look right, describe the problem: "The nav bar is sitting below the hero section instead of above it." The AI will fix it.
- Build incrementally. Describe one feature at a time rather than the entire app in one message. This gives the AI clearer scope for each change.
- Use version history. bldrAgent auto-saves after every AI change. If you go down the wrong path, roll back from Project Settings → History.
