Building games and 3D projects
Learn how bldrAgent supports game and 3D project creation using HTML5 Canvas, Three.js, and Babylon.js — no local setup required.
Building games and 3D projects with bldrAgent
bldrAgent supports three browser-native game and 3D engines — no installs, no build pipelines, and no extra tools required. Your project runs directly in any modern browser as a set of HTML + JS files.
Choosing an engine
When you create a new project, you can optionally pick a game or 3D engine. You can also skip the selection and describe your idea — the AI will recommend the best engine for what you want to build.
| Engine | Best for |
|---|---|
| HTML5 Canvas | 2D arcade games, platformers, puzzle games, interactive canvas art |
| Three.js | 3D scenes, product viewers, visualisations, simple 3D games |
| Babylon.js | Complex 3D games, physics, collision, PBR lighting, in-game GUI |
Tip: Most websites and apps do not need a game engine. Leave the engine selector empty unless you are specifically building a game or 3D experience.
HTML5 Canvas
HTML5 Canvas uses the browser's built-in 2D drawing API — no external libraries needed.
Scaffold generated by bldrAgent:
| File | Role |
|---|---|
index.html | Entry point — loads game.js |
style.css | Full-screen canvas layout |
game.js | Game loop (requestAnimationFrame), input handling, draw/update |
README.md | Project guide |
Example prompts:
- "Build a snake game with score tracking and difficulty levels"
- "Create an asteroids-style shooter with particle effects"
- "Make a canvas drawing app with brush size and colour picker"
Three.js
Three.js is the most widely used WebGL library. bldrAgent loads it directly from CDN (esm.sh) so your project opens in a browser with no npm install.
Scaffold generated by bldrAgent:
| File | Role |
|---|---|
index.html | Entry point — imports Three.js from CDN |
style.css | Full-viewport renderer layout |
main.js | Scene, camera, OrbitControls, lighting, animation loop |
README.md | Project guide |
Example prompts:
- "Create a rotating 3D Earth globe with a day/night texture"
- "Build a 3D product configurator where users can change colours"
- "Make a Three.js first-person maze game"
Babylon.js
Babylon.js is a full-featured game engine with built-in physics, PBR materials, GLTF loading, and a GUI system. bldrAgent loads it from the official CDN.
Scaffold generated by bldrAgent:
| File | Role |
|---|---|
index.html | Entry point — loads Babylon.js, loaders, and GUI from CDN |
style.css | Full-viewport canvas layout |
app.js | Engine, scene, PBR materials, lights, render loop, GUI |
README.md | Project guide |
Example prompts:
- "Build a 3D platformer game with gravity, jump, and collectibles"
- "Create a Babylon.js racing game with a physics car controller"
- "Make an architectural visualisation of a house interior"
How the AI builds your game
When you send a message in the bldrAgent chat, the AI:
- Reads your existing files — it sees your current
game.js/main.js/app.jsin full - Plans the change — for complex features it plans first, then implements
- Emits complete updated files — never partial diffs; always the full file so you can copy/replace
- Explains key decisions — brief notes on the approach after the code
Because the AI always reads the full file before writing, it understands your game state, variable names, and existing logic before making changes.
Running your project
All three engine scaffolds open directly in a browser:
- In the bldrAgent editor, go to the Code tab and download your project files
- Open
index.htmlin Chrome, Firefox, or Safari - Or serve locally with
npx serve .if you want hot-reload
No build step. No Node.js required for the game itself.
