About workspaces
Workspaces are the top-level organisational unit in bldrAgent. Learn what they are, how they work, and when to create multiple workspaces.
What is a workspace?
A workspace is your top-level container in bldrAgent. Everything you build lives inside a workspace:
- Your apps (projects)
- Your team members
- Your billing subscription
- Your settings and integrations
Think of a workspace as your company or team's account. If you're a freelancer, you might have one personal workspace. If you're an agency, you might have separate workspaces for your agency and for each client.
What lives in a workspace
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Projects (apps) | All apps you've created |
| Members | People with access to the workspace |
| Templates | Saved templates from your workspace |
| Media library | Shared images and files |
| Billing | The subscription plan for this workspace |
| Settings | Workspace-wide configuration |
Personal vs. team workspaces
When you sign up, bldrAgent creates a personal workspace for you automatically. You can:
- Keep it as your sole workspace
- Invite team members to collaborate
- Create additional workspaces for different teams or clients
When to create multiple workspaces
Create separate workspaces when:
- You're building apps for different clients (each client gets their own workspace)
- You want separate billing for different departments or projects
- You need different security settings (SSO, IP allowlist) per team
- Your teams should have no visibility into each other's work
Workspace limits
The number of apps, members, and features available in a workspace depend on the workspace's subscription plan. See Billing and plans for details.
Switching between workspaces
Click the workspace switcher in the top-left of the dashboard to switch between workspaces. All workspaces you belong to are listed there.
Workspace vs. project settings

|---|---|---|
| Scope | Applies to all apps in the workspace | Applies to one specific app |
